History
    My mother introduced me to the sewing machine when I was about 11, but my passion for one sixth scale customs really started about 10 years ago.  I came across an online auction for a custom Mara Jade and began thinking of how it was put together and wondered if  I could replicate it.  
  Thanks to that, most of my early customs were centered around "Star Wars" and the current trilogy.  From Padme Amidala to the Female Tusken Raider, I was making them all.  After a while, I began getting other requests to make different characters from B-Movie Scream Queens, role playing game characters to popular on-screen characters.  
The rest is pretty much history. 
     I have worked with many types of fabrics:  PVC Vinyl, Spandex, Leather, Pleather, Sheer Glissenette, Fishnet, Confetti Dot Spandex, Wool and of course your basic cottons.

  Over the past several years I've commissioned Chad to produce some off-the-wall custom outfits for me. Armed with just a basic layout, Chad would formulate a series of questions - then with great communication between us - he would create exactly what I was looking for. I recently got a custom made outfit for my Medicom Misa Amane 1/6 figure from sithlordmacgyver and honestly I have to say that it is worth every penny. The outfit consists of various different pieces – a bodice, skirt, arm and leg coverings with straps connecting to the undergarments. It’s extremely well made and tailored perfectly for Misa. I expected it to be great but I was still shocked at how awesome it looks. It now looks like she came straight out of the anime. If you ever have a need to get a custom outfit made, sithlordmacgyver is the person to go to. He won’t disappoint.

You were very receptive to my requests and were able to modify it to my specifications. A most skilled Artisan in the 1:6 world of Dress Making . I have had the pleasure of his having some of his finished work.  I commissioned SMcG Customs five times to date. He is very specific when it comes to the description of each part to be made, for the apparel to fit a particular type of figure , the colour , the material , the style , including bootfeet as well as belts and hoods . Quality as good as it get in the market place....if not Quite a bit Better . Takes in consideration your " work in progress " adjustments in order to make your project come out as you want it.   For Tailor made, One Off outfits, I Highly recommended.
